As some people are now aware Abi has left TesseracT to pursue other ventures. All is good, and whilst we’re sad at his departure we love him and wish him all the luck in future - watch this space as we’re certain you haven’t heard the last of him. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Abi for all that he has done for TesseracT, his friendship and his input.
As for who will replace him…we’ve decided to keep a tight lid on this until the album is finished…you’ll just have to wait and see…but knowing the internet you’ll know before we do!
Speaking of which – Recording! 70% of the album is finished. WOW! That mountain is getting smaller and smaller. We expect to have an instrumental version finished by August. The current track listing is looking like this:
TesseracT - One
(in no particular order)
- Concealing Fate
- Part one
- Part two
- Part three
- Part Four
- Part five
- Part six
- April
- Sunrise
- Nascent
- Speed Demon
- Untitled
- Untitled
We may name the individual parts of Concealing Fate. So that’s 12 tracks of monstrously epic carnage heading your way soon!
As for the future:
This autumn/winter we will be touring the whole of the ..UK.. (not just the south) and Europe (including ..France.. and ....Sweden.... this time!) in build up to the release of ONE.
We’d like to apologise to anyone who purchased tickets to see us in July, but we decided recording should take priority until the autumn.
As always, thank you for your continued faith and support

Somehow we missed the opportunity to share more tour carnage on our site - this tour video has been on Youtube for a while, but not here for some reason. Ahem. So, Djentlemen, to whet your appetite for a forthcoming update featuring live recordings from our recent European tour, here's the full tour diary, including footage from the warm up shows and the HAMMERFEST performance in all its hard, heavy glory. Look out for James' vocal debut at the end! The video also features sections of Concealing Fate parts 4 & 5 - two sections of our unbroken 30 minute song that will form about half of our debut album ONE. Abi TesseracT |

We're writing this on the way to catch the ferry (we're late, obviously) to the first date of our 2009 European Tour... TesseracT on the continent - it's been a long time coming!
The highlights will be the EUROBLAST festival in Koln with our old friends TEXTURES (Who we hooked with up a while ago to jam some ideas), and the excellent DAGOBA and HACRIDE, followed by the three-day TSUNAMI FEST festival which has a great line-up that slams into three different Dutch cities from the 29th May.
If you're in any of these cities on any of these days, your presence is demanded: Here are the details: 1st LEG: EUROBLAST FESTIVAL, EARPLUGGED FESTIVAL 21 May 2009 - The Rock - Copenhagen, Denmark
22 May 2009 - Halle 5 - Leipzig, GERMANY
23 May 2009 - EUROBLAST FESTIVAL - w/TEXTURES and Dagoba - Koln, GERMANY
24 May 2009 - EARplugged Fest, Sophie’s Pub - Roermond, HOLLAND
2nd LEG: TSUNAMI FEST 29 May 2009 - Tsunami Fest, Tram - Huizen, HOLLAND
30 May 2009 - Tsunami Fest, Bob - Leiden, HOLLAND
31 May 2009 - Tsunami Fest, Winston - Amsterdam, HOLLAND

Our mini-tour is over, and we weren't disappointed by the climax - our Friday night set at Metal Hammer Magazine's first HAMMERFEST festival in Prestatyn, Wales. Despite more technical issues than we've ever experienced in one show and a bad case of laryngitis, we started the first moshpit of the festival. As far as we're concerned that's the only seal of approval that matters :D
Once we'd settled down for a nap at 5am, woken up 4 hours later cradling the remains of our rider (Carling. Nice.) and dragged ourselves into the media room, we managed to bluff our way through a few interviews... Check out www.metalhammer.tv and www.scuzz.com for some probably-still-drunk video interviews that should be online in the next week or two.
Although Hammerfest was the money shot, the warm-ups were amazing too. Massive thanks to everyone (at least it seemed like everyone!) in Bracknell and Weston-Super-Mare for coming out, coming up front, and staying there from the beginning of the intro track to the last note of SUNRISE.
If you saw us at one of these gigs but didn't manage to pick up a Demo CD or grab a Tshirt in the carnage, you're in luck - our new Merch page has both available to buy online.
As soon as Jay comes down from the 14 cans of Red Bull he drank in 24 hours, he'll be editing together a tour video... look out for James' vocal debut. BUSTIN MAKES ME FEEEEL GOOD.
