UK-based metallers TesseracT will celebrate the dawn of a new decade with something truly special when they unleash their debut album ‘One’ in early 2011.
The record will mark the realisation of a bold, experimental creative vision that began in 2003 as a solo writing project in the mind of guitarist Acle Kahney and has subsequently spawned one of the most hotly tipped metal bands in the UK.
Since the formation of the band’s five-piece line-up in spring 2007, TesseracT have picked up richly deserved props from peers alike (Textures, Meshuggah) and press (Metal Hammer, Rock Sound, Scuzz). Following the release of their 2007 demo, TesseracT continue to cultivate a growing International fanbase, through well recieved UK and European tour dates and internet word of mouth. Their reputation of delivering jaw-dropping live performances has been further fuelled through appearances at Bloodstock, Hammerfest, Caos Emergente in portugal and the recent Hellfire 2 festival at the Birmingham NEC arena.
The climax of 2009 finds the band in exciting new territory, with the recent addition of singer Dan Tompkins. As evident in the sneak peek album track ‘Lament’ (featured on Metal Hammer’s November 2009 issue cover CD), Tompkins brings a huge vocal range and further melodic impetus to TesseracT’s ambitious, accomplished musicianship.
Tech-heads will often focus on the quintet’s time signatures and musical complexity, but TesseracT are far from an exclusionary exercise in tech metal pomposity. They fully embrace their experimental, prog sensibility without excessive indulgence or pretentiousness; delivering atmospheric, metallic songs that stir strong emotions and evoke powerful mental images. All of which, they argue, is at the core surprisingly simple.
TesseracT have recently signed an exclusive worldwide contract with Century Media Records.
- Lalic : Some time next year.
- Deception : Guys when are you going to release an album? I have years waiting... xD
- TesseracT : Friday...Sub89...Reading, UK. A very special gig with The Arusha Accord. This will be the last time they will be playing for a few years, so make sure you don't miss it!
- DJCK : 27 min...
- Acs : Gargaj: Where are you from?
- jocony : so the Tesseract - Concealing Fate EP 2010 (advance) is exactly like the real deal EP? sounds and all?

- Gargaj : £5.00 for the EP, £5.10 for shipping

- Someguy : Yeah I'm thinking of buying the one from Century Media as well because I wanted the shirt and I want to support you guys, but with the EP being a limited edition I'm not sure whether I should or not.
- Lalic : Same here!

- Mieksssss : Cool, thanks chaps =D I hope to be purchasing at least 2 copies to support you guys =D
- TesseracT : International orders for the T-shirt and CD bundle are available from September12th from «link»
- Mieksssss : Do you know if us UK chappies can purchase the US shirt+CD bundle and have it shipped to UK? or do we have to suffice with just the CD? ='O
- vocals : I just got a hold of part 1, and I have to say it's amazing. My only problem is the screaming vocals, they don't work out as well as I liked in the demo of part 1 (where they were more like Veil of Maya or Born of Osiris vocals). But you got my $5.
- lol : dw acle we will still buy it! i mean, i already have...
- gg : You might think it was influenced by white noise

- Teqty : Jocony...You appear to be losing it...Take a valium or something

- Acs : lol what do you expect from an unofficial release/leak.
- jocony : but the track list is all wrong? :O
- lol : oh, it cut me off... As i was saying - just generally more awesome IMO.
- lol : jocony, that IS the real one - as far as any of us are aware at least... only the band can confirm or deny that. It is complete, and has Dan's (amazing) vocals on the whole thing... when that guy said 'no thats old' I believe he was referring to the link of the old version of concealing fate pt 5 you attached. I understand what people were saying about the guitars compared with the demo versions; but honestly the newer versions are better produced, tighter, and better written and just generally
